11 Large Staffy Sculptures Have Been Let Loose Around Staffordshire And You Need To Find Them

A new public art trail has launched across Staffordshire to mark 10 years of Staffordshire Day.

The Staffy Trail features 11 large Staffy sculptures across the county, with trails in Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Tamworth, Lichfield and Uttoxeter.

The trail started on Friday 1 May 2026 and runs for 10 weeks, giving families, residents and visitors the chance to explore Staffordshire, learn about local places and unlock rewards along the way.

Where can you find the Staffy sculptures?

The sculptures are spread across five Staffordshire locations:

  • Stafford: 3 sculptures

  • Stoke-on-Trent: 3 sculptures

  • Tamworth: 3 sculptures

  • Lichfield: 1 sculpture

  • Uttoxeter: 1 sculpture

The Stafford sculptures include Kindred, Graham and Jasper. Other sculptures across the trail include Sonney, Outdoors Muddy Paws, Artie, Birdie Boy, Beam Me Up. Staffordshire, Clay, Patch and Staffy’s Travels.

What is The Staffy Trail?

The Staffy Trail is a free public art and heritage trail based around Staffy, Staffordshire’s new visitor mascot.

Each sculpture has been designed by artists and inspired by young people, local stories and places across the county. The idea is to help people explore Staffordshire’s towns and cities while supporting local shops, cafés, attractions and businesses.

Organisers have said the trail is expected to bring thousands of visitors into the county and support the local visitor economy. A previous Staffordshire County Council update said the trail was expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors and generate at least £600,000 for the local visitor economy.

How does The Staffy Trail work?

To take part, download the app called The Staffy Trail.

You can also pick up a printed map from Staffordshire libraries, including libraries in:

  • Tamworth

  • Lichfield

  • Stafford

  • Uttoxeter

  • Stoke

Once you are on the trail, you can follow the route, find the sculptures, visit heritage stops and unlock rewards.

If you are using the app, turn on your phone’s location data so it can track where you are on the trail.

Unlock rewards as you go

When you reach a Staffy sculpture, use the unlock code on the base to claim rewards, discounts or free tickets.

The maps also show local business deals along the way, so people can stop off for food, drinks, shopping or attractions while they explore.

Rewards can be saved in Staffy’s Pup-pack in the app.
