If you know of a pub, bar or venue in Stafford or the surrounding area that is staying open for the match, please contact me on Facebook or comment here with the details.
Venues can also send information about opening times, whether they are staying open until 5am, and any World Cup events, entertainment or special offers planned for the night.
Why are pubs allowed to stay open late?
Pubs and bars in England and Wales have been allowed to stay open until 5am for England’s World Cup match against Mexico.
The temporary change means venues can show the full match without needing to apply individually for extended hours. However, it does not mean every venue will stay open until 5am, so people should check directly before making plans.
