Stafford Crematorium and Cemetery Open Day

Stafford Crematorium and Cemetery is holding an open day for residents and visitors on Saturday 27 June.

The event will give people the chance to go behind the scenes at the borough council-run service and find out more about what happens at the Tixall Road site.

Guided tours will include a chance to see the cremators up close, with a demonstration of how the process works. A golf buggy hearse, Mini Cooper hearse and more traditional hearses will also be on site.

Staff will be available to answer questions about grave digging, memorial safety and eco-friendly funerals.
